URBAN MENUS combines web-based tools and training programmes to support early-stage urban and regional decision-making.

It helps users explore places in 3D, assess likely impacts, and discuss future options before major decisions are fixed.

The framework links three core elements to helps users understand what exists now, what could change, and what effects may follow.

• Spatial representation of the physical context in 3D
• Impact logic that makes effects visible across key dimensions
• Dialogue structure for decision-making, stakeholder roles and perspectives

Why it matters

Planning information is often fragmented. Technical, economic, environmental, and social concerns are frequently addressed separately, which makes trade-offs harder to understand and shared direction harder to build.

URBAN MENUS brings these layers together in one environment so users can explore interventions, compare effects, and support clearer discussion.
